INDE was initiated out of a fundamental belief that an intensive collaboration

between Architects and Engineers can be greatly advantageous for the task in question - ultimately the creation of  Baukultur.

The planning and design of our environment is becoming increasingly more complex and the ability to work

 in interdisciplinary teams increasingly more important.

 

Architects and engineers both claim to be designers, however there are considerable differences 

in how they define design and the design process. 

 

Understanding and respecting each others discipline and developing a common language are basic necessities for a successful collaboration. Initiating this understanding at the earliest educational level and examining the best ways to work together and why - have become the main goals of
